To Sale, Sell or Sail the Sail….That is the question!
If we sail, (vb.), we are traveling on a sailing ship, being propelled by the sail (n.), a piece of fabric by means of which the wind is used to propel the ship.
We could be at a sale (n.), trying to transfer ownership of property where others are selling (vb.), trying to transfer property in return for money.
SAY WHAT YOU MEAN. MEAN WHAT YOU SAY, and use the correct version of the word. It’s really elementary (el e men ta ry) adj., of, relating to, or dealing with, the simplest elements or principles of something.
